BRITISH LOCALS -

Becoming hot items to collect

The Sanday Isles stamp shown - is an example of many stamps that are produced to fill a void of stamps for the Scottish Islands.

Many of the Scottish Islands have a history dating back to the Bronze Age. Many were inhabited until the late 1800's. Some are still inhabited. But most had no stamps.

Tourists to these islands along with stamp collectors, would like to have a memory or stamps to recognize their visit or add to their stamp collcetion of British Locals.

New stamps are being produced to recognize these Local Islands and to add to the collection of many Local Collectors.

There is a very large Local Collectors Club.
